Modified coke breeze distribution in iron ore sintering - a novel technique of reducing energy consumption and improving quality

In normal sintering of iron ore, there is a wide difference in temperature the sinter bed between top and bottom; i.e. flame front gradually increases towards bottom because lower part gets longer time for drying preheating by exit gas. Therefore, may have insufficient fusion excessively fused. Thus, quality become inhomogeneous coke breeze requirement becomes higher than actual thermal requirement. If it charged multiple layers; e.g. amount at bottom, heat will be homogeneously distributed would existing. However, no study has been done so far on this. current explores possibility reducing energy consumption ore ratio from to without deteriorating property. 12% reduction rate found improved use triple layer mix with bottom. Further, when 5-vol% oxygen enriched suction gas along using mix, up an 18-wt% found.
